Bread Pulao Recipe – How to Make Bread Pulao

Bread Pulao recipe or bread upma recipe is a very healthy and tasty option for breakfast as well as for evening snacks.

You can make this with very simple ingredients that are easily available at every home. It is always the kids’ favorite dish at all times.

This bread pulao recipe is mainly a south Indian dish but nowadays this is popular in other areas also.

You can make any changes in ingredients as per your taste. Some say it bread pulao and some say bread upma the both are same.

You can add tomato puree also to give it more moisture. Because bread is dry in nature so it needs moisture.

All you need is the bread and some spices to give it a savory taste. Kids love this recipe in their lunch box as this is nutritious also.

I made it in a very simple and easy way due to my kids. My kids love this recipe in their evening snacks with tomato sauce.

make sure you make this recipe with fresh bread to get a great taste. So let’s get started to make a healthy recipe.

Recipe:

  1. You have to cut all slices of bread into small pieces.
  2. Then sprinkle some water on it to give it some moister don’t sprinkle so much water.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion and green chili as per your taste and fry it for 2 minutes.
  4. You can add red chili also if you like more spicy.
  5. Now add chopped tomato and 1 tsp salt and fry till tomato turns soft.
  6. in this stage, you can add chili sauce also if you want more spicy.
  7. Now add pieces of bread and mix well.
  8. Add 1/2 tbs sugar on it and 2 tbsp clarified butter {ghee} to give it a savory taste.
  9. And now the dish is ready.

Kids love this recipe by doing this method. You can add or replace any ingredients as per your taste.

  • 2 tbsp Refined oil
  • 2 Onion
  • 2 Green chili
  • 2 Tomato
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Clarified Butter

Instructions
 

  • Cut bread into small pieces and sprinkle some water on it to give it some moister.

  • Now switch off the flame and add 2 tbsp clarified butter {ghee}.

  • You can serve this dish with tomato ketchup or raita.
  • If you want to add more vegetables in it you can add but make sure to cook well.
  • Bread needs some moisture that’s why every ingredient should be cooked well.
